Department of Lore Inc. ("we", "us", "our") operates the EnterMAYA website (entermaya.com) and related services. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and share information.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — for example your email address when you sign up for updates, join a playtest waitlist, or purchase products through our store. Third-party services (e.g. newsletter providers, storefronts) process some of this data under their own policies.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, send updates about the MAYA universe when you have opted in, process transactions, and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies & similar technologies

This site sets a small essential HTTP-only cookie when you save privacy choices so we remember your consent. If you choose to allow optional analytics or marketing cookies in the future, those preferences are stored the same way. Use Cookie preferences in the site footer anytime to change your choice.

Consent is recorded via our POST /api/consent endpoint, which sets an HTTP-only maya_consent cookie. You can read the current stored JSON with GET /api/consent (server-side only; the browser cannot read HTTP-only cookies from JavaScript).
